Remote, hybrid, on-site

In short: Fully remote suits experienced, self-organized people; hybrid balances focus and team connection and is the most common model today; on-site fits newcomers who learn fastest through direct exchange. Whichever you prefer, check the lived reality rather than the policy — how many office days there really are, how remote-friendly meetings run, and whether performance is measured by presence or results.

Fully remote

Pros: no commute, work from anywhere, focused deep work. Cons: less spontaneous exchange, self-discipline required, you have to actively maintain your career visibility. Fits: experienced, self-organized people.

Hybrid

Pros: a balance of focus and team, flexibility, personal connection. Cons: "presence theater" on office days, sometimes the worst of both worlds when poorly organized. Fits: most people — today the most common model.

On-site

Pros: direct exchange, fast learning (especially as a junior), a clear line between work and private life. Cons: commuting, less flexibility. Fits: newcomers and people who draw energy from the team.

What to look out for

Ask about the lived reality, not just the policy: How many office days, really? How remote-friendly are the meetings? How is performance measured — presence or results?
